FSN Arizona to broadcast NAU/ASU match

August 22, 2008

Televising the games that matter most to Arizona sports fans is the mission of FSN Arizona. To meet this goal yet again, the network is proud to announce it will now telecast two local games that were previously not scheduled to be on television next Saturday, Aug. 30.

FSN Arizona is set to showcase an unmatched sports tripleheader that evening and the coverage kicks off from Chase Field with a key game in the race for the National League West title when the Arizona Diamondbacks host the Los Angeles Dodgers at 5 p.m. The telecast will be presented in High Definition.

Immediately at the conclusion of the baseball game, FSN Arizona takes its audience across town to Tempe for the Northern Arizona University at No. 15 Arizona State University football game, which is the 2008 season opener for both programs. Should the D-backs & Dodgers game run long, FSN Arizona will air the NAU/ASU football game in its entirety and would start the broadcast from kickoff on a tape delay basis if needed. The ASU/NAU game will not kickoff later than 7:22 p.m. regardless of how long the Diamondback contest is.

Finally that night, FSN Arizona will air a tape delay telecast of the Washington at Oregon college football game at 11:30 p.m. This game is FSN's national telecast on Aug. 30 and is being played at the same time as the NAU/ASU football game. Earlier in the day, FSN Arizona will also televise Oklahoma State at Washington State football game live at 12:30 p.m.

"We are thrilled to be able to televise these games for the D-backs, ASU and NAU and ensure that our viewers are provided the opportunity to watch them if they can't be there in person," said Mike Connelly, FSN Arizona Senior Vice President/General Manager. "If you are a D-backs, Sun Devils or Lumberjacks fan, FSN Arizona will be the network to watch next Saturday night."

FSN Arizona televises the most regional sports action in the state and is the exclusive cable television home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona Rattlers and Phoenix Mercury. FSN Arizona is currently seen in 2.8 million households in Arizona & New Mexico and can also be seen across the country via home satellite services.
