Four members of the Arizona State Sun Devil baseball team were named to the 2008 National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America All-American Team, including First Team Members Brett Wallace and Ike Davis. Tommy Rafferty earned Second Team honors, while Mike Leake was named to the Third Team.

Wallace earned First Team honors from the NCBWA for the second straight season, after earning his second straight Pac-10 Player of the Year Award. Wallace finished the season with a .410 batting average, becoming only the second player in ASU history to bat over .400 twice in a career. He hit 22 home runs and brought home 83 runs, leading the Pac-10 in all three categories. He was the 13th overall selection by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2008 MLB Draft. Wallace has a .398 career batting average as a Sun Devil, second highest in Arizona State baseball history.

Prior to the All-American Team announcement, Wallace was named a Finalist for the Dick Howser Trophy and a Semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace Award. He is also a Finalist for the Golden Spikes Award and was named a First Team All-American by Rivals.com and a Second Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball.

Davis was named to the First Team as a utility player, thanks to his .385 batting average with 16 homers and 76 RBI to go along with his 4-1 record and four saves as a pitcher. Davis was also named a First Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball and Rivals.com. Davis was selected 18th overall by the New York Mets in the 2008 MLB Draft.

Rafferty finished the season with a perfect 12-0 mark, tying a school record for most victories in a season without a start. He led the team with 35 appearances and also recorded four saves. Leake finished the year 11-3, his second straight season with more than ten victories. He was named the Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year and earned Second Team All-American honors from Collegiate Baseball.
