Downtown Devils to be recognized in April
The most outstanding Downtown Phoenix campus leaders will be celebrated at an annual award recognition ceremony in April.
The Distinguished Devils Awards will take place at 5 p.m., April 13, in First Amendment Forum inside the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, 555 N. Central Ave., Phoenix. Please RSVP by April 8 via DowntownDevils@asu.edu if you plan to attend the ceremony.
“As the end of the current academic year approaches, we want to reflect upon the great achievements of our Downtown students because they are an amazing group of student employees and leaders,” said Christina Hernandez, Recognition Committee Chair. “The event will reflect the overall achievements of all students and will honor the award recipients.”
Student leaders will be publicly recognized by the Recognition Committee and Educational Outreach & Student Services for their hard work, honorable activities, social conscience and overall excellence. Award descriptions include Outstanding Student Organization, Outstanding Student Leader, Academic Champion and Trailblazer. All winners will receive an award and certificate for their contributions to the Downtown Phoenix campus.
All nominees are affiliated with the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus by meeting several criteria. Nominations were taken over a two-week period starting in March and decided by the seven-member Recognition Committee.
