Diving shines in National Competition, McCormick takes silver

<p>Sophomore diver <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/mccormick_riley00.html"><span style="color: #444444;">Riley McCormick</span></a> took home the silver medal in the men’s platform dive at the Canadian Winter Nationals. McCormick, who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics for Canada, also finished in fifth place in the men’s 3-meter springboard.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Junior <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/bradshaw_cameron00.html"><span style="color: #444444;">Cameron Bradshaw</span></a> competed in the US Winter Nationals, qualifying for the finals in the men’s 3-meter springboard. Bradshaw, who only started competing in high school, finished 12th overall in the nation in the event.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">The swim and dive team will next defend the territorial cup as it travels to Tucson, Feb. 12, to compete in the final meet of the regular season.</p>
