The Sun Devils outscored the Beavers 35-14 in the second half to turn a four-point halftime lead into a 25-point win.

"I challenged our team at halftime because we weren't working as hard as we needed to," Sun Devil head coach Charli Turner Thorne said. "In the second half they came out and were able to get the job done.

"Our game plan was to get the ball to our posts because they scored really well in practice throughout the week and they did a great job today."

After a layup by Tiffany Ducker cut Arizona State's lead to 42-28 the Sun Devils would put the game out of reach by answering with a 12-2 run over the next six minutes. A jumper by Simon put Arizona State up 54-30 with five minutes left in the game.

Mercedes Fox-Griffin led Oregon State (9-4, 0-3 Pac-10) with 10 points.
