Davis headlines eight Sun Devils on All-Pac-10 Team

Arizona State University senior defensive end <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/davis_dexter00.html">D… Davis</a> was named to the All-Pac-10 First Team, the Pacific-10 Conference announced today. Davis is one of eight Sun Devils who earned All-Conference honors. The All-Pac-10 Team is voted on by the Pac-10 head football coaches.<separator></separator>Senior wide receiver <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/mcgaha_chris00.html">C… McGaha</a>, senior offensive lineman <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/lauvao_shawn00.html">S… Lauvao</a> and senior punt returner <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/williams_kyle00.html">… Williams</a> all earned Second Team All-Pac-10 honors, while senior linebacker <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/goethel_travis00.html"… Goethel</a>, sophomore defensive tackle <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/guy_lawrence00.html">L… Guy</a>, senior linebacker <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/nixon_mike00.html">Mike Nixon</a> and senior running back <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/nance_dimitri00.html">… Nance</a> earned Honorable Mentions.<separator></separator>Davis, Phoenix, Ariz., started all 50 games in his career, the most starts ever by a Sun Devil. The senior defensive end recorded 23 tackles this season, including six for loss and 3.5 sacks. The 3.5 sacks give him 31 for his career, third most in school history. He also recorded his first career interception. Davis was an honorable mention All-Pac-10 choice last season and a Second Team pick in 2007.<separator></separator>Guy, Lauvao and Nixon were all Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 picks last year. McGaha was an All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention choice in 2007.
