Counselor available full time for Downtown Phoenix campus students


<p>A full-time counselor is now available for students at the Downtown Phoenix campus.</p><separator></separator><p>Sonja Sollenberger can help students deal with feelings associated with the shootings at Northern Illinois University. She can also help students with multiple stressors that are associated with college life such as: breaking up with a significant other; failing a test or class; poor relationships with family; eating concerns; grief and loss; substance use; sexual or physical trauma; feeling anxious or depressed; and feeling homesick or out of place in college.</p><separator></separator><p>Sollenberger, who has a doctoral degree in psychology, can help students deal with these problems by identifying the issues and developing plans to alleviate concerns. Counseling can help students identify new ways of approaching a problem or concern.
