Ciganda, Molinaro to compete in Mason Rudolph Women's Championship


The Arizona State women’s golf team will once again compete against some of the nations premiere collegiate golf talent at the 2010 Mason Rudolph Women’s Champion in Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 24-26.

Hosted by Vanderbilt University, the tournament will be held simultaneously with the Mason Rudolph Men’s Championship with separate fields utilizing both the north and south courses of the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The Women’s Championship will be competing on the par-72, 6,281 yard North Course.

The Sun Devils will compete against 14 teams ranked nationally including: Alabama, Auburn, California, College of Charleston, Duke, Florida, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Stanford, Texas, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest.

Competing for ASU as individuals will be juniors Carlota Ciganda and Giulia Molinaro. Last outing, Ciganda tied her career low in the final round of the NCAA Fall Preview with a 66.
