Ciganda finishes in Top-10, Molinaro consistent at Mason Rudolph


<p>Arizona State junior <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/ciganda_carlota00.html">… Ciganda</a>, competing as an individual, finished in a tie for ninth at the 2010 Mason Rudolph Women’s Challenge, held at the par-72, 6,281-yard Vanderbilt Legends North Course.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Ciganda shot a 70 in the final round to earn her first top-10 finish of the year on Sunday, finishing the tournament shooting a 5-under 211 (74-67-70).</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Junior <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/molinaro_giulia00.html">… Molinaro</a>, also competing as an individual for the Sun Devils, played consistently through out the tournament, shooting a three-round total 10-over 226 (75-75-76) to tie for 67th.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">The Mason Rudolph Women’s Challenge concludes the fall collegiate play for both Ciganda and Molinaro. Both golfers will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina to compete in the 2010 World Amateur.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Ciganda will represent her home country of Spain for the second-consecutive World Amateur. In 2008, Ciganda and ASU golf alumna <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/munoz_azahara00.html">Az… Munoz</a> helped Spain to a second-place finish in Australia.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Molinaro will also compete in her second World Amateur, representing her home country of Italy.
