Baseball takes series finale from Delaware
<p><a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/stats/2010-2011/game7.html… Score</a> <!-- LINKS TO RELATED PAGES END --></p><separator></separator><p>Arizona State kept its winning ways up with a 13-4 victory over the Delaware Blue Hens on Sunday in front of 2,188 people watching the Devils improve to six and one on the year.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first after <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/ruettiger_johnny00.htm… Ruettiger</a> doubled to the left-center gap and scored on a <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/wilson_zach00.html">Za… Wilson</a> ground ball to second base. The Devils would add three more runs in the bottom of the second, including <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/demichele_joey00.html"… DeMichele's</a> first career home run, a two-run shot to right field. They would add more runs in the bottom third and the fifth to put the game out of reach.</p><separator></separator><p>Pitcher <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/blackford_alex00.html"… Blackford</a>, making his second star, went five innings allowing three runs and striking out five. He picked up the win, his first career victory.</p><separator></separator><p>Zach MacPhee went 2-2 with an RBI and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/torrez_riccio00.html">… Torrez</a> added three RBI. DeMichele had two hits as well.</p><separator></separator><p>The Devils will head to Surprise next weekend opening the Coca-Cola Classic with Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday March 3.
