Aubry, Harden named ASU Athletes of the Week


<p> Women's swimmer <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/c-swim/mtt/aubry_ashton00.html">Ash… Aubry</a> and Men's Basketball Player <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/harden_james00.html">J… Harden</a> have been named Arizona State's Athletes of the Week for the week ending December 13. Both gave outstanding performances in their respective sports.<a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/c-swim/mtt/aubry_ashton00.html"></a… href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/c-swim/mtt/aubry_ashton00.html">Ash… Aubry</a> (swimming) placed fourth in the 200 fly at the prestigious Texas Invitational. Her time of 1:57.14 was a personal record that puts her at second on ASU's all-time list and is an NCAA consideration time. Aubry also clocked in a personal best in the 100 fly to put herself at second on ASU's all-time list. Her time of 52.51 is an NCAA consideration time.</p><separator></separator><p><a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/harden_james00.html">J… Harden</a> (basketball) averaged 21 points, 8.5 boards and shot 61.9 percent from the field in the two wins against Jackson State and Nebraska. ASU is now 7-1 for just the second time in 18 seasons. He also was 6-of-9 from the three-point stripe.</p>
