Aubry, Harden named ASU Athletes of the Week
Women's swimmer Ashton Aubry and Men's Basketball Player James Harden have been named Arizona State's Athletes of the Week for the week ending December 13. Both gave outstanding performances in their respective sports.
Ashton Aubry (swimming) placed fourth in the 200 fly at the prestigious Texas Invitational. Her time of 1:57.14 was a personal record that puts her at second on ASU's all-time list and is an NCAA consideration time. Aubry also clocked in a personal best in the 100 fly to put herself at second on ASU's all-time list. Her time of 52.51 is an NCAA consideration time.
James Harden (basketball) averaged 21 points, 8.5 boards and shot 61.9 percent from the field in the two wins against Jackson State and Nebraska. ASU is now 7-1 for just the second time in 18 seasons. He also was 6-of-9 from the three-point stripe.
