Attend a Writers Workshop for the 2014 President's Awards


President's Awards

To learn how to most effectively submit an application for a 2014 President’s Award, attend one of the two Writers Workshops that will take place Nov. 7 and Dec. 10 on the Tempe campus. Both sessions are scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. The November session will be in the Memorial Union and the December session will be at University Center A.

Shelly Potts and Stefanie Leite of the University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness will teach applicants how to measure and report their project results concisely and clearly. They also will discuss the criteria for the awards and offer tips on how to organize and write your submissions.

The annual President’s Awards, a part of ASU’s Employee Recognition Program, recognize and celebrate the achievements of ASU faculty and staff in the areas of innovation, social embeddedness and sustainability.

ASU President Michael Crow will recognize all award recipients duirng a reception and award ceremony in April 2014.
