The Nicholas A. Cummings Doctor of Behavioral Health program at Arizona State University is hosting the Spring 2014 Integrated Behavioral Health Care Conference, March 13-14, at the Hilton Long Beach in Long Beach, California.

The conference unites current and future integrated health care professionals and entrepreneurs from across the country to share ideas and opportunities and hear expert speakers on current topics in integrated health care. National leaders in integrated behavioral health will attend and offer detailed guidelines on how to develop a business case for integrated behavioral health care, including how to succeed in a landscape where integrated care is an emerging trend and necessity in health.

“Transformation in health care has placed a spotlight on the importance of integrated care with behavioral health playing an important role,” Ronald R. O’Donnell, director of ASU’s Doctor of Behavioral Health program said. “With hospital CEOs and other leaders seeking professionals who can work and thrive in this new environment, the stage is set for a resurgence of behavioral health care in primary care and other medical settings.”
