ASU women's soccer defeats Oregon State

Carly Kallas scored her fourth goal of the season as the Arizona State women's soccer team defeated Oregon State 1-0 on Sunday. ASU improved to 8-6-4 (2-4-1 Pac-10) while Oregon State falls to 6-9-2 (1-5-1 Pac-10).

Kallas' goal came in the 71st minute of play as she connected on a header off of teammate Kylla Sjoman's free kick.

Sunday's game was the final at home for Sun Devil seniors Carla Scanniello and Sjoman. Both players were honored in a ceremony prior to the game.

The Sun Devils close out the regular season next week when they travel to the Pacific Northwest for games at Washington (Fri., 7 p.m. PT) and at Washington State (Sun., 11 a.m. PT).
