ASU women's soccer defeated by Oregon


<p>The ASU women's soccer team was defeated by Oregon 1-0 on Friday night. The Sun Devils fall to 7-6-4 (1-4-1 Pac-10) while Oregon moves to 8-7-2 (1-4-1 Pac-10).</p><separator></separator><p>The only score came 24 seconds into the game when Oregon sophomore forward Jen Stoltenberg got free on a breakaway and got her shot into the far post for what would prove to be the game winning goal.</p><separator></separator><p>Sophomores <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/shoquist_jill00.html">… Shoquist</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/volpe_karin00.html">Ka… Volpe</a> tied for the team lead in shots with three each. Overall,the Sun Devils held a 14-8 advantage in shots, including a 9-3 advantage in the second half.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils return to action on Sunday at 1 p.m. when they host Oregon State in their final home game of the season.
