ASU women's basketball ranked well by AP poll


<p>The Arizona State women's basketball team is ranked No. 17 in the Associated Press preseason poll, which was released on Saturday.</p><separator></separator><p>The 2008-09 Sun Devils return 11 players, including three starters - senior guard <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/january_briann00.html"… January</a> and senior posts <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/dosty_sybil00.html">Sy… Dosty</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/lacey_lauren01.html">L… Lacey</a> - and several other significant contributors from last year's team which advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season.</p><separator></separator><p>The 2008-09 Sun Devils will make their debut this Wednesday when they host the Houston Jaguars in an exhibition contest at 6:30 p.m. in Wells Fargo Arena.
