ASU tries to stay in the mix after the second round in Florida

After two rounds of the Isleworth Invitational in Orlando, Florida the ASU Men's golf team sits in 15th place at 18-over par (296-298). The Isleworth Invitational, hosted by the University of Central Florida, has some of the strongest team across the nation competing this week. Sun Devil freshmen James Byrne (74-72) and Jed Dirksen (70-76) both shot 2-over 146 and are tied for 32nd after the second round.

Georgia is leading the tournament at 10-under par. The individual leaders are Rickie Fowler from Oklahoma State and Jamie Lovemark from USC who are both at 6-under.

Sophomore Knut Borsheim is tied for 46th with a 4-over 148 (72-76), freshman Jesper Kennegard is tied for 73rd with a 10-over 154 (80-74) and junior Steele DeWald is 83rd with a 20-over 164 (82-82).
