ASU soccer announces promotions for 2009 home schedule


The 2009 Arizona State University women’s soccer home schedule will feature numerous promotions this season, including several admission discounts. All groups of 15 or more will receive $3 discounted admission. <br /> <br />The Devils return home this weekend to host the Sun Devil Desert Classic featuring Virginia, Arizona and Old Dominion. ASU takes on Old Dominion on Friday at 7:00 PM and Virginia (who finished #12 last season) on Sunday at 1:30 PM. Tickets start at just $7 for every home game this season! There are nine remaining home games featuring matchups against San Diego State, Pepperdine, Washington State and Washington.<br /> <br />Prior to two Friday home games (San Diego State on September 11 and Pepperdine on September 25) ASU coaches and select Sun Devil players will conduct pre-game clinics from approximately 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. The clinics are free with the purchase of a regular general admission ticket ($7 rate). Space is limited to youth 8th grade and below, age 13 and under. RSVP is required and advance ticket purchase is requested to guarantee a spot in the clinic. On Friday, September 11, ASU will feature a GOLD OUT, and any fan wearing gold apparel can receive $3 admission into the game. Join us for our annual PINK OUT for Breast Cancer Awareness on Friday, September 25, where any fan wearing pink apparel will receive $3 admission. We will host our “Pack the Park” night on Friday, October 16th as we take on Washington State at 7 p.m. ASU Soccer will cap of the season with a Youth Soccer Spotlight at its final home game on Sunday, November 8th as it hosts Oregon at 1 p.m. Youth in 8th grade and below wearing their soccer jersey to the game will receive $3 admission.<br /> <br />After each game, Sun Devil youth fans can get autographs from their favorite players. In addition, any youth groups interested in attending a soccer game for free can register their group through the <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/genrel/sktc.html&quot; target="_blank">Sparky’s Kids to College</a> program for the November 6th game vs. Oregon State at 7:00 PM. <br /> <br />Group ticket prices are available for all home soccer games in 2009. Head South on Rural Road (towards the University). Proceed south, past Karsten Golf Course, to Sixth Street.
