ASU seeks nominations for Hispanic leadership awards

The ASU Office of Public Affairs invites ASU faculty, staff and representatives of community-service organizations to nominate a graduating ASU student for this year’s Jose Ronstadt Outstanding Undergraduate Award and the Ed Pastor Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Award recipients will be recognized during the spring 2010 Hispanic Convocation ceremony on May 14, 2010, at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe.

Any member of the ASU faculty or staff, or a representative of a community-service organization, may nominate a graduating ASU student.

Honorees will be selected based on the following:

• Academic achievements, GPA and other academic recognitions (honors, scholarships, awards)
• Community service and volunteer activities while attending ASU
• Engagement/involvement/leadership in ASU organizations and/or in the community
