ASU offers flexcar service
<p>You may already know that ASU Parking and Transit Services has partnered with Flexcar, the nation’s largest car-sharing company, to provide an easy, affordable and sustainable method of transportation for the university and surrounding community. And that Flexcar offers low-emission, fuel-efficient vehicles for rent by the hour or by the day for about $8 an hour. But did you know that there are two Flexcar parking spaces available on the Phoenix Downtown campus? When people rent a Flexcar on the Tempe campus, they will have a place to park in the UCENT garage and in the College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation garage when they visit downtown.</p><separator></separator><p><br />Ten Flexcar vehicles, including hybrids, sport-utility vehicles and a pickup truck, are parked around the Tempe campus (Flexcar locations may be viewed at <a href="http://www.asu.edu/parking/PDFs/Flexcar_Map.pdf">www.asu.edu/parking/PD…;). ASU students, faculty and staff 18 years and older can become Flexcar members for an annual $35 membership fee.</p>
