ASU looks to build on their first round scores
The ASU Men's golf team looks to build on their first round scores at the Isleworth Invitational in Orlando, Florida. The first round saw the Sun Devils play solid golf against a very difficult field. The team looks to improve on an 8-over 296 that leaves them in 12th place. Freshman Jed Dirksen led the team with a 2-under 70 for one of the best single rounds in his young career.
USC leads the tournament after the first round with a team score of 4-under par. Rhys Enoch of East Tennessee State is the individual leader after shooting 6-under.
Sophomore Knut Borsheim is tied for 31st with an even par 72, freshman James Byrne is tied for 37th at 2-over (74), freshman Jesper Kennegard is tied for 70th at 8-over (80) and junior Steele DeWald is 88th at 10-over (82).
