ASU competes in a match-up of diving powers

The Arizona State men's and women's diving teams travel to Hawai'i for a formidable match-up between two NCAA diving powerhouses. Competing against another top-tier NCAA diving program, ASU kicks-off their season with a strong challenge against the Rainbow Wahine, November 5-6 in Hilo, Hawai'i.

The Sun Devils return three Olympians and Pac-10 Champions in All-American Elina Eggers, Riley McCormick and Constantine Blaha. Also competing is junior Cameron Bradshaw, who came on strong this summer finishing in eighth at the AT&T National Diving Championships.

UH will be lead by 2010 WAC Diver of the Year, senior Stephanie De Lima, and men's conference champion junior Douglas Cohen.

Each team will field three or four divers in each men's and women's event along with three mixed pairs in the Springboard Team event.  The top 6 divers will score points for their teams (1st =7 points, 2nd = 5 points, 3rd = 4 points, 4th = 3 points, 5th = 2 points, 6th = 1 point).
