ASU announces partnership with ISP Sports

The Arizona State University Athletic Department has reached an agreement with ISP Sports, the country's foremost collegiate sports marketing company, to serve as the exclusive multi-media marketer for the Sun Devils for the next 10 years, as announced by Lisa Love, Vice-President for University Athletics.

With the partnership, which officially begins July 1, 2009, ISP will market a variety of corporate sponsorship opportunities involving ASU sports, including live play-by-play game radio broadcasts, football and basketball game programs, signage in on-campus facilities and corporate hospitality events. The company will also serve as a sales representative for TheSunDevils.com, the official athletic department website.

"ASU is excited and proud to partner with ISP Sports," said Love. "As a foremost leader in collegiate sponsorship, ISP brings a fantastic track record and many years of experience to ASU. We are thrilled that our University and the Sun Devil fan base will be able to benefit from the expertise that they provide."

As part of the agreement, ISP and ASU will be installing new state-of-the-art LED signage and video board displays in Sun Devil Stadium and Wells Fargo Arena. "The new signage and video board displays in our venues will provide great visibility to University partners while significantly enhancing the fan experience at our home events," said Love.

Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., ISP is the sales and marketing partner for more than 60 universities, conferences, bowl games and venues across the country. Among the impressive list of ISP clients are Pac-10 members California, UCLA, Washington and Washington State.

"This is a great day for our company," ISP Chairman and CEO Ben Sutton said. "Arizona State is truly a national name in the world of intercollegiate athletics and we are extremely excited to be working with Lisa and the outstanding team of administrators and coaches that she has assembled.

"ISP is privileged to work with some of the premier athletic programs and universities in America. We are elated to add the Sun Devils to that impressive list of partners."

Heading up ISP's sales management effort in Tempe will be general manager Joe Hickey. He has worked in corporate partnerships with the Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Nationals, and most recently the Phoenix Coyotes.

Assisting Hickey on the Sun Devil ISP Sports Network team will be Jason Malito, Michael Shockley and Stacie Nelson, all ASU Alumni, and Kennedy Turner.
