ASU alums get in the game with new intramural league


<p>This fall, the Arizona State University Alumni Association will sponsor its first-ever intramural sports league for Sun Devil alums and their friends. The association has partnered with Just Play Sports Now, a national intramural organization, to offer softball, sand volleyball and flag football divisions.</p><separator></separator><p>Teams will compete on Wednesday or Thursday nights throughout the fall, beginning Sept. 8. Leagues will be co-ed and open to everyone, although each team must have at least one player who is a member of the ASU Alumni Association.&nbsp;</p><separator></separator><p>Jennifer Holsman, executive director of operations at the Alumni Association, said the intramurals league represented an exciting way for ASU alums to share their Sun Devil connection.</p><separator></separator><p>“It’s a great opportunity for alums to get together and enjoy some fun, exercise and camaraderie, all at the same time,” Holsman said.</p><separator></separator><p>Team registration continues through Sept. 3.
