Alumni Association picks up four graphic design awards

<p>Seeing is believing, and the visual presentation of ASU Magazine, as well as that of a signature university event, Founders’ Day, recently received recognition in the 2009 American Inhouse Design Awards contest. All materials were produced by the communications and marketing department of the ASU Alumni Association, which publishes the magazine and produces the Founders’ Day event.</p><separator></separator><p>The department received kudos for its design work on three cover stories published in ASU Magazine during 2008: “Creating a University” (March), “What’s the Big Idea?” (September) and “The Future of the City” (December). The department also received commendations for materials used to promote the 2008 Founders’ Day awards dinner.</p><separator></separator><p>The American Inhouse Design Awards are sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine.
