Alumni Association asks Sun Devils to share stories

Did you meet a lifelong friend in biology lab? Have an overly quirky roommate while living in the dorms? Take a class from someone you’ll never forget? The ASU Alumni Association wants to hear your ASU story.

“Every Sun Devil alum has a unique story – some are solemn, some are touching, and some are just laugh-out-loud funny,” said Jennifer Holsman, executive director of operations for the ASU Alumni Association. “We initiated the My ASU Story contest to share the most interesting stories with other ASU graduates.”

Earlier this year, the Alumni Association saw unprecedented success with its ASU Love Story contest. After receiving more than 60 tales of Sun Devil love from the very first graduates at ASU to the students of today, the Alumni Association wants Sun Devils to share their stories.

Submission categories for My ASU Story include: Graduation Stories, My Best Friend, Inspiring Teachers, Dorm Life, Family Traditions, Campus Scenes and Then and Now. Select stories will be published in the March 2011 edition of ASU Magazine and on the ASU Alumni Association’s website.
