#1 baseball beats Wofford 9-3

Top ranked Arizona State defeated Wofford 9-3 Tuesday night in front of a crowd of 2,386 at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark. The Sun Devils improve to 26-1 on the season with the victory.<separator></separator>ASU did not allow a hit until the sixth inning, as senior <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/brader_dustin00.html">… Brader</a> started and went three innings before <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/blair_seth00.html">Seth Blair</a> came on from the bullpen to earn the victory. Blair allowed three hits and three runs while striking out three over four innings to improve to 3-1 on the season.<separator></separator>The Sun Devils jumped out to a quick start offensively, scoring six runs in the first two innings. <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/roling_kiel00.html">Ki… Roling</a> had an RBI double and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/sontag_ryan00.html">Ry… Sontag</a> drove in a run on a groundout in the first to give ASU a 2-0 lead.<separator></separator>In the second, <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/kipnis_jason00.html">J… Kipnis</a> then drove in three runs on a bases loaded triple to left center, and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/davis_ike00.html">Ike Davis</a> then brought Kipnis in with a sacrifice fly to put the Sun Devils in front 6-0.<separator></separator><a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/wallace_brett00.html">… Wallace</a> then added to the lead with a three-run double in the sixth.
