The Arizona State beach volleyball team (7-10, 1-2 Pac-12) opened play at the fifth annual Surf and Turf Invitational, hosted by Florida International University, dropping its three matches Friday afternoon to No. 3 UCLA, No. 18 Tulane University and No. 15 Florida International University.
