David Barker

David Barker, a professor of theatre in the School of Film, Dance and Theatre, is directing the U.S. and Canadian tour of Childsplay's "The Cat in the Hat."

The 26-week tour started in California Sept. 27, and the show will play in 44 U.S. cities and 9 Canadian cities with a total of 165 performances. In addition to Barker's direction, the show features lighting design by Jennifer Setlow, associate professor in the School of Film, Dance and Theatre.

Several of the actors in this production are ASU theatre alumni, including Nathan Delatorre, Kaleena Newman and Kate Haas.
