Adriene Jenik


Adriene Jenik, professor and director of the ASU School of Art launches "SPECFLIC 1.9," an experimental narrative which imagines the near-future of the public research university. Featuring an immersive interface and performances by Allison Janney, Ricardo Dominguez, and Richard Jenik among others, "SPECFLIC 1.9" asks viewers to consider the ethical implications of technological progress on our shared future.

Screenings will be held at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.AZ premiere of new media art work Friday April 12, 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Reception for both screenings will be at 7-7:30 p.m.
