Bartlett Evans

Bartlett Evans, faculty associate in choral music in the School of Music, was recently selected as the 2015 Arizona Choral Directors Association Choral Director of the Year. He was presented this award at the annual Arizona American Choral Directors Association Summer Conference on July 9.

"My teachers in choral music and every student who has sung in one of my choirs are the people to whom this award belongs," says Evans. "It is a humbling thing to be recognized by my colleagues in this manner, as I look to them for inspiration and consider many of them my mentors. I am deeply committed to providing the best I can offer my students during every class/rehearsal time. An award such as this will serve as a reminder for me to continue with my efforts."
