ASU Police now on Facebook, Twitter

The Arizona State University Police Department has expanded its communication options by creating a Facebook page and Twitter feed.

“The ASU Police Department can provide vital information to students, faculty and staff on a variety of topics through social media. For instance, we posted information recently on Facebook about bike safety and we’ll be posting a video soon showing students how to properly secure their bike and how to register their bikes,” said Jim Hardina, ASU Police Department commander.

Adding a social media component provides the department with a direct way to interact with students, using services that they likely already use.
