World-traveled music faculty to bring tour back home this spring
TEMPE, Ariz. – One of the most popular performance series in the Valley is back at Arizona State University for spring 2005. The Faculty Artist Recital Series, presented by the Herberger College of Fine Arts School of Music, will present 14 concerts by top faculty musicians who have appeared as soloists or with prestigious ensembles all over the world.
The faculty recital concerts are performed by faculty musicians playing a variety of instruments, from piano and clarinet to flute and harp. Venues for the Faculty Artist Recital Series are the Katzin Concert Hall and Evelyn Smith Music Theatre, both located in the Music Building at 40 E. Gammage Parkway on ASU’s main campus in Tempe.
Two money-saving packages, together with low single ticket prices, make it easy for Valley music enthusiasts to enjoy these professional performances. Single tickets to recitals are $5 each and various packages reduce prices even more. The "Pick Six" package is $25, which is a $5 saving. The "Top Ten" package is $30, giving an even bigger saving of $20.
For a brochure, call the School of Music at 480-965-3371 or go to the Herberger College Web site to find the brochure and downloadable order form at http://herbergercollege.asu.edu/facultyseries/.
