School of Music offers summer choir program for kids 5 through 11

The Piano Prep Program in the Herberger College of Fine Arts School of Music at ASU will offer Summer Choir as an extension of the popular Piano Prep Children’s Choir offered during the school year. This is a unique opportunity for youngsters to perform with other students and enhance their musicianship through singing. Students will further develop their ear-training and listening skills while learning to sing in different languages.

Prep Choir, for ages 7–11, will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. beginning June 3. Kinder Choir, for ages 5-6, will meet from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The six-week session ends with a concert on the last day of class, July 10.
