Family Fun! Concert is an evening of tall tales and interactive fun for children of all ages! Explore the world of three year-old Sophie, a dinosaur named Sue and a rendition of The Nightingale.

For the first time, the band program in the Herberger College of Fine Arts School of Music has created a concert with kids, one that invites them to come and explore music.

The Music Building becomes Chamber Winds’ playground for the concert.
First: Sept Dances performed in the Crowley Entrance Lobby
Second: Tyrannosaurus Sue: A Cretaceous Concerto by Bruce Adolphe performed in Katzin Concert Hall
Third: Excerpts from Rex: The King of Instruments by William Albright performed on the Fritts Pipe Organ in the Organ Hall. Children in the audience are invited to come on stage and move up close to the pipe organ to see first hand how one is played.

Refreshments end the evening in the Crowley Entrance Lobby.
