Herberger College of Fine Arts offers dance classes for high school students


WHAT: The Herberger College of Fine Arts Department of Dance at Arizona State University invites high school students to explore the world of dance through a series of innovative and exciting workshops entitled, "On the Move."

On the Move is an exciting opportunity for high school students to work with experienced ASU dance teachers and dance education students in a one-of-a-kind enrichment experience.

In the spring session of On the Move, students will explore a variety of dance styles, including modern, hip-hop, jazz, improvisation, choreography, dance technology and performance coaching, culminating in an informal performance for friends and family.

WHEN: Feb. 21-May 16, Fridays 4:45-6 p.m.

WHERE: Classes will be held in the state-of-the-art facilities of ASU’s Physical Education Building East, Room 190, on the ASU campus in Tempe. Metered parking is available just outside the dance studio.

HOW MUCH: Tuition is $120 for a 12-week session plus a $15 registration fee.
