Children’s summer creative drama classes offered at ASU

WHAT: ASU’s Herberger College of Fine Arts invites children to explore the creative world of theatre! The summer program, entitled “Imagination Corporation,” promises a summer of fun and excitement.

Classes will use drama to find new ways of developing the creative voice inside every child. Students will explore the artistic aspects of performance, puppetry and stagecraft. In addition, there will be a final presentation on the last day of class.

Specialists from ASU’s graduate level Theatre For Youth program will teach classes.

Imagination Corporation is for children ages 7-13.

WHEN: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., from June 9 to July 3, 2003.

WHERE: Lyceum Theatre, 901 S. Forest Mall, ASU, Tempe.

HOW MUCH: Cost is only $375 for the four weeks.
