What
The ASU School of Theatre and Film presents the 6th Annual ASU Student Film Festivalfeaturing the ASU Film Association’s Audience Choice Award competition, April 25–26 at the Harkins Valley Art® Theatre in downtown Tempe. The Festival represents the film component of the ASU School of Theatre and Film MainStage Season.

This traditionally sold-out event showcases the work of dozens of filmmakers eager to see their work on the big screen. The festival highlights the best emerging talent in the Film & Media Production program, the first in the nation to offer an ethical approach to filmmaking. Audience members also can pick their favorite short in the 10-minute film competition.

“Audience members can see a wide range of short films – from documentaries to dramas, to comedies to demo, and cinematography reels – all of which explore a full range of the curriculum here at ASU,” says F. Miguel Valenti, Lincoln Professor of Ethics and the Arts and the founding director of the film and media production program in the ASU School of Theatre and Film. “We welcome all to come and see for themselves the great work our students are doing here at ASU.”
