The ASU School of Film, Dance and Theatre MainStage Season in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts presents the world premiere of “Before You Ruin It,” written by Laura Jacqmin and directed by Hal Brooks, Feb. 7-16 in the Lyceum Theatre on the ASU Tempe campus.

The players at the top of the computer game company Infocom created a loyal fan base and top-rated games during the heady days of the 1980s. The twists and turns of the company’s quest eventually led to its doom. As told by critically acclaimed writer Laura Jacqmin, the play mixes fact with fiction to explore the great adventure of the computer game marketplace in its nascent iterations.

This production is funded in part by the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Guest Artist Initiative.
