Sculptural elements featured in upcoming exhibitions

"Essential Elements," an exhibition featuring primarily cast iron, bronze and aluminum works by Jill Holland, will open April 7 and run through April 11 at ASU's Step Gallery. The exhibition by Holland, a senior sculpture student at the Herberger College's School of Art, juxtaposes her figurative work with her geometric work. The exhibition will also contain a number of welded relief cubist “paintings” of musicians. A free public reception will be held from 7-9 p.m., April 7.

The Step Gallery is Located in Tempe Center at the west end of ASU's main campus, Tempe. (Southeast corner of Mill and University.) Admission is free. Gallery Hours are Monday through Thursday from noon to 5 p.m. and Friday from noon to 3 p.m. For more information, members of the public should call (480) 965-6163.
