Humorous Halloween photos

When a passerby souvenired the cowboy's head from Dane Hamblin's western mural (part of a project by Herberger College of Fine Arts students, in conjunction with ASU Public Art, to brighten up an ugly construction wall on ASU's Tempe campus,) the Herberger College student saw it as an opportunity to do something else creative.

The result - reminiscent of Ichabod Crane - is drawing laughs from many who pass it. And Dane (who hopes this head - or non-head - lasts at least until Halloween) is already planning other holiday themed heads for his mural, as well as a replacement for the original cowboy head that went AWOL.

I thought you might want to use an image of Hamblin's work in one of your issues between now and Halloween. Please note that the photo credit is Jesse Rieser, ASU.

Please contact me if you need additional info or would like to talk with the artist.
