ASU hosts The Third Annual Arizona Designer Craftsmen Juried Exhibition

What
The ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts hosts ,em>The Third Annual Arizona Designer Craftsmen Juried Exhibition. This exhibition features artwork produced by members of Arizona Designer Craftsmen (ADC) http://www.azdesignercraftsmen.org, including students from the ASU Herberger Institute School of Art. Becky McDonah, assistant professor of metals in the School of Art and exhibition organizer, sees the exhibition as an opportunity to foster and advance contemporary crafts in Arizona.

This year’s juror, Carol Eckert, internationally renowned fiber artist, has assembled a mix of local artists working in a range of media including clay, fiber, paper, metal, glass and wood. The annual event continues its mission to educate and develop public awareness, as well as encouraging high standards of design and workmanship in the craft fields.

ASU Herberger Institute School of Art Gallery 100, Tempe Center Ste. 199, Tempe. The gallery is on the northeast corner of 10th Street and University Drive (located just north of the ASU Art Museum Ceramics Research Center).

Gallery 100 hours: Monday through Thursday, noon–5 p.m.; Fridays noon–3 p.m. Closed weekends and major holidays.
