ASU Art Museum presents lunchtime lecture
In conjunction with the exhibition COBRA: Before, During and After, Works from the Collection of Stephane Janssen, the ASU Art Museum presents a lunchtime lecture at noon, April 4, in the museum.
Speakers at The Big Shift: Art and Ideas in the Aftermath of the Second World War will address the changes in philosophy and visual art in reaction to the end of the Second World War. Linda Hirshman, a scholar of philosophy who taught at Brandeis University, and Marilyn Zeitlin, director of the ASU Art Museum and curator of the exhibition, are scheduled to speak.
