ASU Gammage director named honoree for 'Mom of the Year'

Colleen Jennings-Roggensack, executive director for ASU Gammage and associate vice president of cultural affairs for Arizona State University, has been named an honoree for 2016 "Mom of the Year" by Valle de Sol.

"Mom of the Year" is a recognition event to honor women of diverse backgrounds for service to community and for their exemplary roles as mothers. The event raises funds to support the Mi Salud Clinics where families and children receive primary-care assistance. Valle del Sol is a nonprofit organization that provides health care, human service and leadership development programs.

Jennings-Roggensack will be honored at an 8 a.m. event on May 6 at the Phoenix Convention Center. The other honorees include Sam Campana, executive director, Desert Discovery Center; Laura Pastor, Phoenix City Councilwoman (District 4); and Paulina Vazquez Morris, J.D., M.B.A, M.H.S.A.
